Determines the doge's base breed. 4 possible breeds encoded in 2 bits.
Profession Gene
64 total professions — 32 wizard (Gryffindor Student, Auror Recruit, Potion Brewer, Dragon Tamer, Dark Lord's Apprentice...) + 32 muggle (Street Dog, Junkyard Guard, Food Truck Mascot, The Godfather...). All available at genesis.

Every Doge starts at Gen 0. Through gameplay, evolve up to Gen 7. Higher stages unlock higher multiplier caps.
